Established on June 1, 1972, under the provisions of the Road Transport Act, 1950, UPSRTC was created to provide adequate, economical, and efficiently coordinated road transport services to the residents of Uttar Pradesh. Headquartered in Lucknow, the corporation operates through 20 regional offices, 115 bus depots, and 301 bus stations, ensuring comprehensive coverage throughout the state.
