Attic Conversions Cork exists to help homeowners across Cork city and county make use of space they already have. Converting an attic is often less disruptive and less costly than a ground-floor extension, and it doesn't touch your garden -- but only if the structural side is handled properly from the start.
Every project begins with a structural assessment, not a design conversation. We check roof pitch, joist strength, and ceiling height before any discussion of layout, dormer vs. Velux, or finish -- because until we know what your attic can actually support, everything else is guesswork.
If a conversion needs extra structural work to be safe and building-control compliant, we'll tell you that upfront rather than promise something the roof can't deliver. That's not always the fastest way to close a job, but it's the only way we're comfortable working.
