About us
As an integrative part of conventional medicine, acupuncture and Chinese Medicine are used in our clinic to help people to reach their optimized recovery and good long-term health. We focus on construction of your health, use knowledge of classical textbooks, up-to-date research results and mechanisms, personal experiences and communications with national/international experts, to help a variety of disorders, from commonly seen diseases such as chronic pain, mental disorders, and infertility, to critical and complicated diseases such as cancer, heart failure, and renal failure.
Zuobiao (Roy) Yuan, Lic. Ac, D.O.M., has practiced acupuncture and Chinese Medicine since 1993, when he obtained his bachelor degree of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Jiangxi Province, China. He then gained his doctoral degree from the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2000. He was trained and worked in the Longhua Hospital, the only hospital of Chinese Medicine recommended by CNN TV Station to Americans, and the few national cancer center of traditional Chinese medicine. He is aslso a Shagnhai Professor of Special Appointment, and a former faculty member at American Academy of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. He also did several years of research in pancreatic cancer and pancreatitis at the Department of Surgery, University of Minnesota. One of the research projects was the role of an active component of Chinese medicine in pancreatic cancer.
He has helped many complicated cancer patients, among them, multiple terminal patients referred for hospice service to survive.
Our service include Acupuncture, Electrical Stimulation, Cupping and Chinese herbs.
We offer free public educational classes for how acupuncture and Chinese Medicine can help certain health conditions. The class will provide information including but not limited to history, clinical reports, mechanism studies. You are also welcome to ask about any specific topics.
