Heart of the Shepherd Lutheran Church (LCMS) in Howell, MI, is a friendly, community-focused congregation where traditional liturgy meets modern warmth. We worship with Divine Service, lectionary readings, chanting, and hymns—both classic and new—led by piano, singers, and sometimes guitar or drums. Ministries include Sunday School, Trail Life and American Heritage Girls, a robust adult Bible class, midweek studies, youth catechism, and high school gatherings. Men’s ministry is active with Bible study and fellowship events. On our 18-acre property, we host chili cook-offs, Taco-Fest, summer picnics, and Oktoberfest.
