Kailasa Los Angeles Nithyanandeshwara Hindu Temple was inaugurated on November 9th, 2007 after its importance was revealed directly by Sadashiva to SPH JGM HDH BhagavanNithyanandaParamashivam in a vision. The Los Angeles temple is a punyakshetra and theerthasthala for all seekers world over. SPH JGM HDH BhagavanNithyanandaParamashivam has revealed that it will be known for Superconscious Evolution and Power Manifestation. The Los Angeles temple embodies the fire energy just like Arunachala, and is called Arunachala of the West. Just like Arunachala, anyone who remembers LA temple will attain moksha (smaranathmukti).

At 4’ height and 4’ wide, it is the largest Shiva Linga in North America.
