The reason I became a realtor isn't your typical fairytale. It actually happened by accident. In college, I majored in architecture so I was always fascinated with real estate. One summer I decided to buy an investment property. I hired the first Realtor I met. That was a mistake! She was clueless about the entire process. What made that experience so bad wasn't that she didn't know what she was doing, but it was because she was only in it to make a quick commission check! She did not have my best interest at heart.
I felt used. I felt cheap. It definitely was not a pleasurable experience. Over the years, I purchased 40 more investment properties and I definitely didn't use her. Because of that experience, I didn't trust any realtor because of my horrible first experience.
Now that I'm semi-retired from investing, my goal is to raise the bar and create a higher standard within the real estate industry. I have vowed to be different with higher standards. I didn't want to be that average, traditional realtor. Plus, I never wanted anyone to feel "used" the way I felt used.
So over the years, I have honed my craft. I've become an expert on the Frisco/McKinney/Plano Hyper-Local Market. I've become an expert in Negotiations. Video Marketing has become my new passion. And I have designed and crafted specialty services for the families that I serve.
